RE: 2 Minutes with the Farmer Vlog #83: Teaching Kids Work Ethic!!!

very good @bowentroyer that's excellent, those kids will be able to handle anything when they get older. I talk to alot of managers and they all tell me that kids don't know how to work these days, they have to try to train them and usually the kids can't handle it and quit because they have no concept. so great job! bytheway your parent's have a heck of a nice barn!

I agree. I have tried to get other kids to come help work on the farm. Good workers are few and far between. Yes the barn is coming together nicely

oh how interesting....so if other kids can come over you could teach them so valuable life lessons. Has that ever worked out? It sounds like such a simple undertaking but is actually foundational and could mean the difference between success and failure.

We had some good experiences and some very bad with other kids. But like to think we can teach other kids valuable lessons here on the farm

lol yes sir...I grew up on a large farm operation in Kansas and we would laugh at the city kids because the didn't know how to do anything practical, but the farm teaches a great variety of useful skills.
