We have a lot of homesteaders here in the Steemian Community. Sotall will be needing to supply seeds which creates a demand. Those wishing to grow and then harvest organic heirloom seeds in bulk can help fill that demand and they will have a market that can use Steem as the currency. Creates a win/win/win solution!

@vickiebarker is 100% correct. As the community builds there are other things we can do. I would love to see a site similar to Ebay or Etsy that accepts SBD. That will be a big undertaking and need IT people to set it up and customer support people who will need to be paid. Both will provide SBD income to workers and allow customers to spend their SBD. There is so much that can be done, one step at a time.

Have you looked at @steembay? It’s a little like Ebay, I guess. I don’t think it gets a lot of traffic yet, but I think that will change. I think I’m going to post there once a week or so. Even if the stuff I post doesn’t sell right away, I feel like the more users that post there, the faster it will grow.

Checked it out, thanks for the tip @powellx5. What a great idea and if that catches on it could really go big with the help of some of the developers around here I would think. Hope you do add some thing on there, will be a fun project as well. Seems there is no limit as to how this platform can perform :)

I was thinking I'd start doing a #makeitmonday post every week, and mabe slip in a nod to @steembay in there. See if we can get more people checking it out.

That is a great plan. Will see you out there :)

Sorry for the hijack, @fernowl13!

Was just thinking too, the project itself adds value to the entire Steemit platform so everyone benefits. Have to add another win . . . win/win/win/win/ solution! ;)

Ok thank you for the explaination

I love this community! The Steemit Homesteaders community is the place to be!
