RE: Re-roofing our Gambrel Roof Barn

in #homesteading7 years ago

That's awesome man!! great job - you have some skills there 0- I try to do as much as possible myself without having to hire someone - I would have never taken on a roof all by myself. Although yesterday I did a complete kitchen demolition with the help of friend and his son - I'll be posting pics of that soon. I love homesteading you have a beautiful piece of land there. What animals will you be housing in the barn?

Thank you! I feel your pain! We are remodeling our whole house. You get used to doing dishes in the bathroom tub on occasion! This is our third house remodel and hopefully our last!

We have ducks, chickens, goats, yak, and a couple of cows. We also store all of our hay and feed in there, so a good roof is very welcome! With Minnesota winters and a growing local wolf population, the barn is a must.

That's a lot of animals! I'd like to have some animals - maybe not a cow , but perhaps some chickens and goats. We are doing a remodel right now to on a property were flipping. That's why I'm tearing out the kitchen.
