I’ve imagined it, but now I see what that much snow looks like from inside a house. Truly snowed in!
We got hit with about a foot of snow where I live, and the night before the supermarkets were ravaged and the lines were so long. These are people that can walk to the store in 15 minutes.
I’m in a more rural area, but I can walk to the store as it’s just 3 miles away.
Your photos give me even more perspective!
This is the worst of it. The other side of the house does not get like this at all. It is a cozy feeling - does not bother us. Snowstorms can be scary times; There's a lot of people around here don't have the resources to make it more than a few days without power/shops, etc. I am grateful that we are not in that position. We've been stuck at home for three weeks now and it hasn't been the end of the world although I am missing some luxuries and look forward to getting into town for a change of scenery.
