I doubt if my topic for today falls on homesteading category, although I choose to share it under homesteading over traditional business because aside from the fact that the business is just located in our very own residence it is a trade or profit generating business that anyone could start right in his own house.
I am #grateful we were able to buy a house located right beside the highway, the place was actually a low end subdivision intended originally for public school teachers and policemen but we were lucky enough to have been given the chance to live here.
And even more blessed because we are occupying a corner lot area thus if we want to put up a business then we can.
In fact, we were able to start and manage a bakeshop and sari-sari store few years back. We utilized the extra space for business so we did build a small commercial space at the side of our house.
The business last for 9 years until we decided to close it for a lot of reasons and open the space for rental.
Just few months back a local establishment who are engaged in selling lechon manok rented our space. Indeed, it was a big help for the family since we are receiving extra income on top of the regular source of income of the family which is the salaries of my wife and myself.
I am so happy for such blessings given by God, and so grateful with what is happening in my life in so far as earning money is concern most particularly the presence of this business as both of our salaries are not enough to cover the whole family\s expenses.
This time the business is doing well with a considerable amount of sales every day. At this moment we are planning to extend and open 2 more spaces for rent hopefully with my income from #steemit I could start the construction of additional space soon.
If that would happen? Then it will be an additional blessings for the whole family, something that we should be #grateful of. THANK YOU LORD!
