Just another day of walking down the road on the homestead. The truck is in the shop and while I like to do the majority of the fixes on my own, I have just too much to do and it would be better off just fixing the problems this time at the mechanic.
The truck was and is runnning pretty good. I replaced a fuel pump fuse the other day and also a right front speed sensor that was causeing my ABS brakes to engage.
I need to keep my truck in top shape on these roads and the amount of issues here was just too much for me to do all on my own and would cause me to miss too much freelance web development work. So I bit the bullet.
So it's my leather personnel carriers (LPCs) for a while.
These are my boots of choice. They are made by Oakley and BY FAR have been the best boots I have ever owned. I have owned 5.11, LAPG, Altima and even a really expensive pair of Danners. The Oakley pair has bested and outlasted them all. And I got them on clearance for like $40 at LAPoliceGear.com. I always check the clearance section at that store and buy most of my clothes and footwear there.
That's it for now. See you in a bit!

Nice post i like it and thank you for sharing this beautiful post with us
I feel you. I've been doing a lot of work lately on my truck too this month and still not done, since the next thing will be the breaks. The nice thing is I don't do it myself (I'm a girl so I just take it to the shop) but still it takes a lot of money and time, but it has to get done.
Good luck and btw enjoyed the little walk.
Thanks!
Those are nice, but the real value is in hearing your experiences. I paid a lot of money for a pair of 5.11 boots a while back and learned a lesson. Don’t get any zippers! These were the type with a side zipper. Both zippers failed me in the first 3 months of light use. Bummer for a $120 pair of boots. I’ll keep an eye out on that website too. Not looked at it in a while — has forgotten about it.
Hope the truck is an easy fix all around and doesn’t break your wallet!

Yeah, I never got into the zipper boots. I'll take your advice on those.
Thanks for the walk....I should probably do some of my own now! :-)
It's always a good time for a nice walk.
Sorry I tried to promote but have no money, still watch you on you tube, glad to see you have moved over.
That's the trouble with pick - up trucks, you can't live with 'em & you can't live with them.
