this is truly beautiful. i'm really touched by your post; its honesty, depth, focus and more. this is what i was hoping this "contest" could pull out of people. i really appreciate the time and thought you put into it. i also like hearing how the process itself was positive for you-- that's just so cool.
on another note, i can totally relate to wanting it all and wanting in soon/now! on the homestead. it is so beneficial to really step back and take a look at what our goals are and what is possible within a given frame of time. also personal growth takes time and these types of changes mostly don't happen overnight. stunning entry @walkerland, per usual. thank you! i wish all of this for you (totally know you can do it!) and more! <3
You've got a beautiful way of presenting challenging topics and motivating people to dive in. I really appreciate how much thought goes into what you do.
After writing this post I I spent quite a bit of time mapping out tasks in our daily lives in addition to bigger goals, setting a nice five year time-line really helped! I started by trying to schedule my day (coffee, yoga, lunch, laundry, gardening etc) and quickly ran out of available hour slots for all the things that I've been trying to fit in. It's given me a much more realistic view and helped me to set far more realistic goals! ♥
