(This is an entertaining video ^-^)
One person's trash is another's treasure! Live by this maxim!
Today we went to the Ozark County Recycling Center. Recycling drop off in the front and dump in the back! Every couple years a big metal distributor comes and compresses all of the metal in the dump and hauls it away to sell to a major recycler. Until then, it's free pickins for us!
Join Ini and me and our friend Chelsea and her kids, Clark and Eliza, as we venture into our local dump to see what treasures await....
What kind of treasures have you found at the dump?? Write your best finds in the comments!!!

I never thought going to the dump would look like so much fun! The kids especially seemed to enjoy it. So much easier to find wonder in things at that age.
There is a thing about the wonder children carry. Something beautiful, innocent and creative. I've learned to limit what i bring home in honoring order, but the truth is it's hard not to want to be creative with all the resources!
But it's always fun time here.
Now this is my kinda shopping! I could stay there for days if they would let me. Great idea!
hahaha! well they did kinda kick us out at 3:30... lol! def a great place to shop :D
Yeah it must be like going to the best estate sale ever because the cool old stuff is free
Good post. Brings back memories. When I was little, my dad loved taking us to the dump. He would find all kinds of things like broken furniture, lamps bike parts ect. He was very handy and would bring the stuff home and fix it. I bet half our house was furnished with stuff he found and restored.
Thanks for sharing,
@tincanjunction
love it!! it's all about reuse! that kind of life is fullll of character --- can't find that at target!!
Awesome video! One man's trash is another man's treasure. I love the old bed frame trellis that you pulled out I can see that being very handy
thanks @hopfarmnc! yeah i was excited about that :D
Yesterday i found this car at the dumb !!!loool
PS:No Photoshop in that picture for full resolution click here
woah! no way! good find!! did you take it home? it drove?
nope .its just a car that i found it at the flea market ..there was no parking spot available.
People's distress leads here unfortunately -(((

I found 10 heavy duty metal T posts once. If it's free it's for me!
Well said. I have to hold myself back at times from bringing home items without a project in mind. You can imagine things can get outta hand with a pile like this.
Nice finds. Last time I went to the dump here in UK I found stuff and they tried to charge me for it. When I challenged them i they got aggressive. I asked if they were going to stop me if we drove of they said no of of we went 💯🐒
I love this kind of thing. You are seeking a natural life away from the concrete jungle the majority of us are unfortunate enough to live in. Re utilising other peoples junk is a great ethic.
