Creative Garden Hacks #4

in #homesteading7 years ago

There are plenty of garden DIY ideas. And fortunately lot of them are documented on the internet. And some of the sites even put the information that gives you an idea of how to put things in order. So here are some of the garden hacks that you can try.

Upcycled Dresser

This is one of my favorite. Many times we can't get rid of the furniture and we have no options than to keep it out of home. And in such cases you can make use of those type of the existing furniture in a creative way. Here's one such attempt. Though it may require a bit of effort on your part.

Indoor Hanging Herb Garden

I think this project is similar to the window farms project. I have written about the project already in few days back. And it is one such good project. Though it may not be the right project for many who are trying to keep home clean. Apart from that the project looks very good for those who want to keep the herb plants at home and wish to water them without fail. This is good especially for those who have snow outside and they can't keep the herbs plant out.

Stacked Crates

This is very creative project. And this may require you to spend some time trying to put things properly. And that's why I suggest this to something with creative approach. Because here you may need help of other people. And that's another way we can say that it'd be reasonable to have some understanding of wood work and managing the water in such crates.

These are some projects that I have found. I hope you like these projects. Feel free to let me know if you wish to try any one of them.

you would love the garden in a closed jar!

All these ideas are great! Especially the window garden idea. I have run out of horizontal floor and table space in my room but maybe I can build something to hold poles so I can hang plants in front of my window!
I'm also still thinking about using an old tire as a planter how you mentioned in a previous post.

Yes tires on wall are awesome :)

nice hacks :)

The dresser drawers is one design I have yet to see before. Creative but I'd worry about the bottoms rotting out unless a plastic or water barrier was in place.

Usually plastic enclosure inside is necessary to avoid wood from getting damaged :)
