I am told that the prices of fruit and vegetable imports are set to skyrocket in Canada this winter due to fires in California and hurricanes / flooding in the South East.... So far prices at Walmart look low to me.

Is 25 cents a good price for 1 lime ?

Maybe I should Stock up on everything and freeze and dry them.

What is your plan for the winter ?

Sort:

We get a lot of produce from Mexico and believe it or not China.

I wonder what the cost is to ship something from China

because the Canadian Govt subsidizes all shipping to china and back. It’s cheaper to send exports from canada to other places rather locally!

I'm in Oklahoma, We pay about 25 cents for limes as well.

25? sounds reasonable...

That is good to know.
