Homesteading and being "Off Grid" go hand in hand in many circles. We were planning on going off-grid ourselves as we began our homesteading, but we ended up going on-grid instead.... What happened?

In the end if you're on grid but engaging, teaching, loving, creating harmony, producing and being a general PLUS factor, where the electricity came from is less relevant. Being off-grid as a green status symbol is a 'thing' to be sure, and only as useful as what you DO with that energy you're harnessing independently.
