One thing I have found effective is to go to the local dump / recycling centre and get some old carpets. They have been very effective for clearing weeds.
Ahhh never thought the recycling plant/tip may have some. Thank you very much!
Monday mornings are a good time to go - as long as it hasn't rained. They get too wet and heavy then!
