Oh man, he is so freaking cute! We have about 50 baby toads that we raised this spring, from tadpoles, and quite honestly, I’m having a bit of trouble getting ready to set them free. Can’t imagine how difficult it would be to say goodbye to a mammal. For the record, though, toads have way more personality than they’re typical credited.
He's SO cute! I have a lot of experience with many different animals, and they are always more intelligent than they get credit for. I hope you have posts about your tadpoles. I'm going to look right now!

I don’t — I’ve been here less than a week and only now starting to have any sense of any of it. I’ve really enjoyed all the animal/wildlife posts I’ve read tonight — I think they’ve inspired me to share some of the plants and creatures that my kids and I uncover in our adventures.
