Honey - we know it mainly as a sweet food substance produced by bees. Can be used in so many different ways, it is just amazing. Honey is very healthy and generally wide spread in cooking, production of drinks, cleansing, skin treatment, immune system improvement, medical benefits, personal care benefits etc. I don't want to bore you with all this stuff, that you already know. Well, at least I am 100 % that you are familiar with honey and can read about its health benefits in wikipedia.
In this particular post I would like to share with you my experience in beekeeping. I have started it approximately one year ago with my friends and it goes very smoothly for now. At this point our main goal is to raise a population of our bee families and later on, well I don't know yet, we will see. However, even now it is a great addition to my homestead.
I might write several posts about bees, honey and howto tips about it. So guys don't be shy, if any of you ave questions, just ask. I am always here for you.

Working hard...
Scary isn't it? Not for experienced beekeepers.

Very good article. Upvoted.
I have been very interested in starting up a bee hive. Do you have any good sources for a beginner to get started? I have been looking into this beehive. https://www.honeyflow.com/ what do you think of it?
I'm joining our local beekeeping association to learn more about this. Seeing this gets me excited to get going on it. We won a hive from @mericanhomestead last winter so that will start us out. Plan on learning from all we can. Thanks for sharing!
