Can you taste the wood-fired pizza yet? We haven't baked real bread since we moved out to our homestead (having temperatures in the 100's will do that to you), so getting this oven in will be a huge blessing!

Wow, that's really cool. Yes, I can already taste the pizza. Upvoting and Resteeming.
Homesteaders and Preppers, be sure to tag your posts with the #preppers hashtag. That will make it easier for us to discover your content and resteem your posts for others to find. You can also find other homesteaders, preppers, and survivalists by checking out the people who we follow. https://steemit.com/@preppers/followed
Thanks for the resteem! Even though we consider ourselves homesteaders rather than preppers, I bet a lot of the things we're doing are certainly useful and interesting to the prepper community. We all want to stand on our own two feet, that's for sure! Thanks for the tip.
Upvoting and sharing this on our facebook page as well.
Thanks so much! We hope that our experiences can be helpful and useful. :)
Oh man, an outdoor kitchen sounds like a great idea. We will be buying a new place in Washington next year. I definitely see this in my plans
Congrats on the new property! When we finally found our place, it was a WONDERFUL feeling. I'm sure the weather in Washington will be a lot different than what we get here in Missouri, but there's nothing like getting to eat under a blue sky with breezes in your face, no matter where you are. Happy building! Let us know if you have any further questions about our build.
This looks awesome! Thanks for sharing. I was about to ask if those were plain red bricks or fire bricks, but he explained it in the part 2 video. How are they holding up to the heat?
The brick oven is still unfinished, so that one is yet to be tested, but the grill works GREAT! We have been enjoying burgers and grilled veggies with joy, haha, and a cooler kitchen. Thanks so much for watching along!
