With only being on our homestead for 5 months, everything looks pretty in-construction-process right now. I hope that visitors understand that the "unkempt" pile of wood between those trees is being sorted for future use, or that the pile of stones over there is about to be turned into a retaining wall, etc. It's all a process, that's for sure!
Before Sabbath, we always take the time to clean everything up as much as possible. Having that weekly tidy-up really helps keep things maintained.
Love seeing the chickens among the garden stuff. We just have a few, but I am so excited to be free-ranging them!
Also, we are so happy to find you here on Steemit! We were wondering how you all were doing. Even if you don't update YouTube anymore, we'll certainly be keeping up with you here!
I am glad to hear you made it to your homestead! We find life will not slow down unless you make it slow down. Our family enjoys Sabbath and the early winter evenings. Great time to catch up and play games and read as a family.
How are things on your homestead? I forget what state do you move to? Take care and thanks for reaching out! If we can help in any way please let us know.
We're in Southern Missouri, so not too far from you (I think?) Things were incredibly busy over the summer with getting our first animals, trying to make the structures on the land useable, and wresting our 12 acres from the brink of being wild, but we're doing well!
Thanks so much for the kindness. We'll keep in touch!
