We are slowly getting grass

I swear just the other day it was all mud

I notice that finally the temps are warming up enough that the grass is finally starting to grow at least in some spots. One spot it has starting growing very well.

I know it isn't much yet

But it is a start. It is raining today so I apoligize for the lack of quality of the through the window cell phone photos. That patch towards the corner is the largest patch of new grass growth so far. But we do have small patches popping up in our mud pit.

Hopefully in a month it will all be grass

I hope by this time next month we have grass covering the mud pit completely. As I really want to fence in the rest of the yard and give our dogs more room to play and run. It is part of the reason we wanted some land.

I have decided to go ahead and do @ultrawing open house else where

With not knowing if we will have enough grass for @ultrawing open house we have decided to have it else where. I will be renting a cabin next week so we won't have to worry about mud. Can't wait to share photos of a pretty lawn.

You can do a lot with an acre and a half. Hope you get your variance cause we have a blast with the chickens. They don’t take up much room either. Many many thanks to you. 🐓🐓

I guess the harsh winter period is going away. You've got quite a large space when compared to mine here.

We have 1.53 acres in all

Thats quite large, what do you intend doing wiith the free spaces?

Some of it is woods and we plan to clear the overgrowth and underbrush out of it. We are going to build a garage a green house and a garden. I also plan to convert an amish barn into a photo studio in the next couple of years.

I hope so too, because the grass can make the yard look clean and green. In my area also has not been raining since the lunar eclipse in the past, because in my area is in the dry season. Hopefully it will rain soon. Thanks for sharing the story.

It rains fairly regularly in the wetlands where I live.
