Thankfully no, we've been able to keep ahead of the front. Our friends even made it up the driveway for a visit yesterday. That's where all our energy goes, keeping the place somewhat accessible. I'll have to get some snaps of the outside of our snow fortress soon. On a bonus note, The snow is providing me with good light for kitchen photography. :)

It must be hard to shovel the driveway when the truck is out of commission to plow, or do you have another vehicle dedicated to plowing? Oh yeah I love that about the snow.. more light, especially for photos and solar energy :) The straw bale we are living in is so dark because the thick walls, but the snow definitely lights it up in here more too . Last winter almost 100% of my food photos were outside, so I would grab the steaming food, run out in the snow in my slippers, snap the photo and then run back in lol!
