My Plymouth Rock chicken. I named her Walk About. She will not stay in the pen with the other chickens. That is why I named her that. She has decided to nest In my planter by the backdoor. Maybe Spook my pyrenees pup will not get her eggs. He does like to eat them.
We had a Barred Rock hen that did that. She was our only chicken pet for 9.5 years. She was quite a character!
This one is only a year old. I did know how long they could live.
