Hello, dear members of all communities, especially #needleworkmonday . Welcome back to my blog, today I bring you the step-by-step of how to make a cow-shaped pot holder, made with crocheted yarn, made by my mom Marleny Llanes.

Materials

Needle
Crochet thread
scissors
Wool sewing needle

Development

Make two contours of the face

We start with 5 chains, make in the center 14 high points.

In the second lap we make two high points (1 increase in each point) until we finish, closing with a sliding point.

We go up with 3 chains, 1 magnification and 1 high point in each point until the end of the lap, closing with a sliding stitch.

In the fourth lap, we climb with 3 chains making 1 increase and 2 high points repeat until finishing the lap closing with a sliding stitch.

We went upstairs with three chains. Fifth lap a raise and 3 high points repeat until the end of the lap, close with a sliding point.

We went upstairs with three chains. For this lap 1 raise and 4 high stitches close with sliding stitch. Seventh lap 1 raise and 5 stitches high. And the last lap (eighth lap) 1 raise and 6 stitches high

Cow's ears

15 chains in the third hole make low stitches in three stitches, make high stitches and when missing 4 stitches make low stitches, close leave thread to sew, make two.

Mouth

For the mouth we made 20 chains with four high points turns. In the tip when turning, we make 4 high points in the same point. We finish with one turn of low points or half a point.

We make two horns, sew the ears and the horns to the contour of the face.
