This is the 1st time I'm updating my studio since 2 years of pandemic in Malaysia. During pandemic, we managed to open several months but not have luck to go on because lack of people coming.
Our recording studio closed just after 4 months of opening and that make me feel so sad. So I decided to closed it and make it rest, selling many things studio stuff so that we can faster the clear off.
Right now, I packed some of my studio stuffs to my home and put it inside my small room. It is enough for me to lay down some small recording and production sessions.
Maybe you asked, where I'm putting my drums? Ya, I'm selling the acoustic drums and buy the electric drums so that I can easily fit in my small room and I just doing drums tracking using the electric drums only. Save space and no noise during tracking.
How I setup my home studio? It is very simple and I'm using imac and audio interface. That's all. How about studio monitors? I'm tracking using headphones only and maybe if I have money, I can buy a small studio monitors.
And this is my setup and this setup is captured during my band rehearsal in this room. Small but we can fit!
For now, I'm thinking I'm just using this room for my own purposes.
