Honey and Its Beneficial Properties. Honey - Food of The Gods!

Hi Steemers! You never knew the real value of honey, so listen up.

Honey

Honey is a natural product obtained as a result of processing by bees of flower nectar, secreted by the honey glands of plants in the flowering period. The main components of honey are fructose and glucose. They give the honey a unique sweet taste.

Biochemists have proven that the human body metabolizes these substances is much better than sucrose. Honey is lighter than sugar, is passed by the kidneys, does not irritate the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines and, finally, rapidly releases energy. Glucose and fructose dilate blood vessels, contribute to the regulation of nervous activity, improve nutrition of the heart muscle.

Also, the honey contains pollen and enzymes produced by bees. This wonderful natural combination of honey determines its unique properties: it strengthens the immune system, gives strength, improves appetite, heals wounds, soothes, and the constant use of honey instead of sugar contributes to weight loss.

If you want to stay young, be sure to eat honey. (Avicenna)

Beneficial properties has only natural honey, that is a natural product, has not passed any technological processing. Heating honey above 36°C (temperature of the hive) destroys its beneficial properties.

Our ancestors called honey a gift from the gods. Mention of its healing properties can be found in the records of Egyptian physicians, in the Bible, in the texts of Hippocrates and the Koran. The Greeks believed that Zeus was fed honey from the same place the expression goes, "Honey – food of the gods". About this I was told since childhood.

I like bees and honey.
