In 1923, a 16-year-old girl named Catharina Beckons was forced to marry an old man who was 30 years older than her named Daniel. Growing up in poverty, her mother thought that by selling their most beautiful daughter to a wealthy man, they would become wealthy. Catharina was raped and forced to bear the old man's three children in her lifetime. Two of their sons were mentally challenged, and the last one was a daughter that had a severe mental illness. Her name was Deborah. The old man would often beat Deborah up whenever her psychosis occurred, right in front of Catharina's face.
Because they were living off with wealth, the old man hired several nannies to care for the crippled children. He would often go off on luxurious vacations and take Catharina with him. Daniel had an unhealthy fetishism towards young women and would often force them to ferociously have sex with him. Catharina was often beaten and brutally forced to have sex with him in bed. Leaving the young woman in tears every time he's finished with her. She prayed that God would set her free from the disastrous nightmare, but it never came.
"You are a failed mother. I didn't pay this much for you just for you to raise morons!!" Daniel would scream at Catharina every night he came home. "I could just leave you on the streets to starve!!"
"Please, I promise.......honey!!" she would often start weeping.
Deborah and Cole, her oldest son, never survived to their 18th birthday before dying from diseases. Their children's death had little effect on Daniel because he already had children from his previous marriage. All that was left was Issac, the middle son of Catharina and Daniel with intellectual disability, who was still alive. Daniel never looked at him as his son and more like his puppet. By the time he turned 18, he was convicted of a crime in which he was the scapegoat. Daniel found himself a new woman to settle with, named Margaret.
"You son of a bitch!!" Catharina shouted out in rage, "first you used me for all these years, and now you're getting yourself a new woman!! May God send mercy to your wretched soul!!"
"My wretched soul?" Daniel said almost bursting out laughing. "I'm the one who saved you from your peasant family, your dooming future. You really are mute on the street!"
"You and that little bitch make me sick!!" Catharina screamed before launching the dagger into his chest.
When Catharina found out that her abusive husband was leaving her for Margaret, she fought her way through in outrage. The very first time she dared to speak out for herself. The dagger managed to stab into Daniel's chest, making him groan in pain. That was when Margaret ordered the guard to chain Catharina onto the bed. There, she began taking out her eyeballs with sadism and began laughing. Catharina could feel her limbs being cut off, all four of them. Leaving her in unendurable agony, Margaret laughed off and left the room.
The resentful and vengeful spirit is still alive. The mansion has since been renovated into an apartment. Even a century later, her vengeful spirit is still seen lurking in people's deepest sleep. Little did people know while she was alive, she was a telepathist who understood people. She knew when people were having sleep paralysis and would go there to haunt them. With no eyes and no limbs, she would be seen sitting in a wheelchair. There have been many reports of her sinister presence at night from all different rooms. She wants to look for someone to who she could relate so that she could take their benefits.
