It is told of a young boy who has just come to a big city for college. He didn't have much money, so he could only afford to rent an old apartment with an ugly building in a rather shabby area. When he entered the apartment, he found the conditions inside were very bad. The floor was dusty and stained, and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls.
After sorting the clothes into the closet, he decided to tidy up his room to make it look a little cleaner. When he tore off all the wallpaper, he saw a small hole in the wall. Then he tried to peek through the hole, from there he could see the neighbor's apartment perfectly. There was no one in the apartment next door at the time. Feeling that his behavior was a bit indecent, he immediately plugged the hole with a tissue, and began to continue cleaning the dust in his apartment.
The next day, when he came home from campus and took the elevator, he saw a beautiful girl getting into the elevator as well. The teenager was so mesmerized by the girl's beauty, that he couldn't stop staring at her.
The elevator stopped on the floor and the teenager quickly got out. He was surprised when he realized that the beautiful girl had followed him out of the elevator. The teenager continued to walk down the corridor to his apartment. Silently, the teenager glanced at the girl behind him over his shoulder. He saw the girl open the door to the apartment next door. The teenager just realized that the girl was living in the apartment next door.
When he arrived at his apartment, the boy couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful girl he met earlier. Unable to contain his lust, he decided to peek at the girl through the hole he found yesterday.
When he peeked through the hole, he could see the whole house perfectly. He felt very nervous when he saw the beautiful girl taking off her clothes, getting ready to take a shower. The girl didn't seem to notice at all about the hole between the wall and the neighbor's apartment wall, so the teenager tried to remain silent when he saw the beautiful girl who was now naked in front of him. The teenager then felt very disappointed when he saw the girl turn off the light and go to bed after taking a shower. Then, the teenager also decided to go to bed.
In the middle of the night, the man heard a sound resembling a scream coming from the apartment next door, the beautiful girl's apartment. He was confused, what the girl was doing in the middle of the night like this. Out of curiosity, he decided to peek through the hole in the wall. He pressed his face against the wall and began to look into the girl's room. The room, which was originally dark, has now become bright because the lights have been turned on. However, his eyes caught a terrifying sight.
There was a tall man standing next to the beautiful girl. The man held a long knife in his hand and was ready to stab the girl. A few seconds later, the man stabbed the knife into the girl's body repeatedly. The girl groaned in pain, her legs stomping and her body writhing before finally lying still in a pool of blood.
The teenager was shocked by what he saw. He couldn't do anything, because his body felt weak now. He fell on his knees to the floor, his body shaking and his stomach feeling queasy. It was very quiet now. "Is the girl dead?", he thought. He thought for a moment, then with great difficulty, the teenager stood up to confirm the girl's condition once more. Sure enough, the girl is now not moving at all.
The killer then took some of the girl's valuables and immediately left her apartment. But, before the killer opened the apartment door and left, he turned his head towards the hole where the teenage boy was peeking. The teenager spontaneously jerked back and shuddered in horror. But he had quite clearly seen the killer's face. The killer man had a sharp nose, had a beard, and had a scar on his cheek. The man will be easy to identify.
The teenager immediately ran to the bed and immediately grabbed his cellphone. He was about to call the police by then, but suddenly a thought stopped him.
If he reported this incident to the police, they would know that he had peeked at the girl through the hole in the wall. Then, maybe his friends will know this, as well as the neighbors in his apartment. That would embarrass himself, he thought.
Then slowly he put his cell phone on his bedside table, he decided not to call the police.
The next day, when the teenage boy came home from his college, several police officers were waiting for him at the door. They informed the teenager that his next door neighbor had been killed last night and the police needed to ask the teenager some questions. First, the teenager didn't let the police into his apartment, they just talked outside. But in the end, the cops offered to break into his apartment. Because it was impossible to refuse, the teenager finally let the police into his apartment.
They sat and talked in the dining room, the police started the interrogation by asking if he had seen or heard anything unusual last night. The teenager suddenly broke out in cold sweat at the police question. But he argues that last night he went to bed early and maybe because he slept too well, he didn't hear anything. The police asked a few other questions, but the man stuck to his alibi. He confirmed the policeman that he knew nothing about the murder.
Then, one of the policemen noticed a hole in the wall. Then, he moved from
sat down and began to peek through the hole.
"Are you sure you didn't see or hear anything last night?" He asked as if probing.
"I just moved into this apartment two days ago," said the teenager. “I didn't even notice that there was a hole in one of the walls of my apartment. I swear, I didn't hear or know anything. If I see something, I'll definitely tell you."
Officers finally gave up questioning the teenager, then they said goodbye to go home and thanked the teenager. The officer seemed to believe all of the teen's screams. But, the teenager will never forget what he saw that night.
One week passed, the teenager was finally able to forget a little about the murder of the beautiful girl. He had covered the hole by stuffing it with paper. He didn't want to remember the murder anymore.
One day, he reads the news in the newspaper about the murder of the girl next to his apartment. The news said that the police were still investigating the case. And the killer is still at large.
That night, the teenage boy heard a sound like a scream coming from the room of the girl who had been murdered. He was stunned for a moment and was surprised by the sound, because the girl's apartment had been empty since the murder. The police line was still across the door.
The teenager tried to convince himself that he had misheard, but then he became very sure that he heard a voice from the apartment next door. He suddenly felt scared remembering the slain beautiful girl. But his curiosity overcame his fear that night. Finally, he decided to peek through the hole in the wall.
With trembling hands, he picked up the paper he had stuck in the hole and began to peek at the apartment next door.
First, he saw nothing. He blinked his eyes to adjust to the darkness of the room, but he still saw nothing. He didn't even hear the screams or sounds he had heard earlier. There was only eerie silence.
Then, as he was about to move away from the hole, he saw something. A fiery red eye stared at him behind the wall.
The man backed away in extreme fright. An unblinking eye continued to stare at him with a terrifying gaze. He just stood still, frozen in fear.
Then, a hoarse voice broke the silence. A girl's voice that sounded like a whisper, “I knew you saw me!!”
