Located in the village of Oia, on the island of Santorini, Greece, this bright and white summer house designed by Kapsimalis Architects consists of a cellar house located in the volcanic soil and a small outdoor structure at the upper level.
Inside the cellar house there is a living room with a small kitchen, two bedrooms with bathroom, a steam room and a sauna. The outdoor courtyard has been designed as a platform with a view of the volcano. An infinity pool, a semi-open vaulted space and seating areas make up this platform. The main idea of the architects was the exploitation of the amorphous curves of the existing cave in a sculptural living space and the design of an outdoor platform with a swimming pool suspended from the volcanic cliffs. The design of the summer house is totally integrated into the volcanic landscape.
Wow. Great place and great exterior and interior designing. Do the owners of this house give it on rent. I just fell in love with this house. This is just like my dream house. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. Cheera
