US housing, jobs and the economy are going to decline rapidly. The entire economic system is based on an illusion, the housing market has been pumped up, the unemployment number are manipulated and the economy is in the worst shape we have ever seen. Richmond fed declines rapidly.Trump starts trade wars with China and South Korea, this is start of breaking off from the old trade system. South Korea is a test case for bitcoin regulation and now you can only purchase and sell bitcoin in the banks
Thank You, Dave, for your work, and keeping us informed.
Who wants the system to remain in power? Only weirdos and greedy people!
I think a good indicator of the real estate market health is the 10 year treasury. If the bond sell of continues it's going to force the rates up and take market liquidity with it pulling a halt to low interest rates on mortgages. Interesting how no matter what realtors always say it's both a good time to buy and a good time to sell...
In my honest opinion, the bubbles are reaching their popping point in another 18 months. There are too many of them. Housing prices bubble, consumer debt bubble, student loan bubble, car loans overextended. Jobs growth is starting to slow down. The sh*t is going to hit the fan when Trump runs for re-election (2020).
My latest post: "Bitcoin Bounce" https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@nzfxtrader/bitcoin-bounce-price-analysis-jan-24th
I concur, but bubbles can release air slowly through a pin hole which is what is happening right now. They don't have to always pop ie. Dot Com / 87 Realestate etc.. Markets are so "Managed" that a pop seams redundant..
True, but I think the actions of the world's central banks (QE to infinity) will make a pop more likely than not. Although I am busy prepping still - and will continue so - I hope it will be this year.
Careful what you hope for. If your a prepper , I would assume you would want this "system" to go on a lil longer. You can still trade polymer for AU or AG , Katadyn water filter , -40 sleeping bags , Honda generator, lithium batteries , crossbow, bags of non gmo rice, quinoa , spring water ...you get my drift. If and or when this "system" comes to a full close, No ONE will want polymer. IMO , Lets hope it's a slow pop, because if it's
a fast pop, that would be a real "fast one" on the public.
Aye. I don't think any of us are wishing for this - and yes in a way the longer it goes the more time we have to prep. Excellent tips there, thanks. On the other hand I am sick of living in a Potemkin village! I want to get back to reality, but yes the potential chaos could be biblical.
In politics and economics, a Potemkin village is any construction built solely to deceive others into thinking that a situation is better than it really is. The term comes from stories of a fake portable village built only to impress Empress Catherine II during her journey to Crimea in 1787. While some modern historians claim accounts of this portable village are exaggerated, the original story was that Grigory Potemkin erected phony portable settlements along the banks of the Dnieper River in order to fool the Russian Empress; the structures would be disassembled after she passed, and re-assembled farther along her route to be viewed again as if new. source - wikipedia
Great analogy! I did know that term and meaning.
Posted the definition because it serves as an ideal example.
Prepping Advice? Ask me. I own all the items listed above. I can advise for an income of 40,000 to 80,000 net per annum . That is the range I know.. Take care.
