Self-sabotage is basically that undesirable state in which our mind insists on preventing us from achieving our dreams.
The simplest example is the girl who wants to lose weight, but at the first opportunity is tempted by a cupcake, and destroys their diet.
However, although this is a serious problem that afflicts many people, few of them know that they suffer from it. So much so, that when we are really sabotaging our attempts to succeed, we rationalize in all kinds of ways, which is the best decision.
"A single cupcake will not make me fat", "I can not limit myself with my tastes and desires" and similar things could be thought by the person whose goal is to actually lose a few kilograms of weight.
The main cause of self-sabotage is the loss of self-confidence, directly related to our abilities. Or in other words, when we distrust what we can achieve, our mind does its best to take us in a different direction.
People often live a life of "whatever happens to happen" and believe they have little control. Honestly, if they knew the power they carry within, they would immediately change their thinking path.
Undoubtedly, all of us have experienced ups and downs in life, and we have somehow developed weaknesses and strengths as a result of the same. It is important that you never let adversities take control of your life, let alone weaken your character.
The mental conditioning to which someone who goes through a stage of self-sabotage is exposed, is enough to prevent him from achieving success. Changing patterns of behavior and paradigms in order to overcome this conditioning is not easy.
That is why today I want you to know a way to overcome this difficult situation, whether you are living now, or want to eliminate it from your horizon.
First, you must understand and accept yourself, before trying anything. Even if you make mistakes, you have failed in life, and somehow or other you have disappointed, it is possible to change at any time and build a better life, so do not punish yourself like many, it will not work.
On the other hand, it is important that you have an open mind. To solve this type of problems, being aware of new possibilities gives you a position of greater power.
Also, you need to understand the power of the positive. It is much more effective to focus on "What You Can Improve"; than in "What You Have Bad Inside You". Although it may be the same. Handle positive language ALWAYS talk about yourself, even with yourself
We talk about a whole process of deep introspection, and self-analysis.
And to make things even easier, here is a list of important considerations for you:
Recognize that you have absolute responsibility for your life, and that no one else can make important decisions for you. It is essential that you know that whatever happens, you were responsible and you must assume it.
Every time you make a decision that hurts yourself and sabotages your attempts to achieve success, you are acting on a deformed character over time. Identify what are some possible causes of this deformation and possible solutions.
From now on, identify the moments in which you dedicate yourself to self-criticism. Every moment that you find yourself talking bad about yourself, or treating yourself in a way that you would not want someone else to treat you, stop. Think about it very well and correct it in time.
After discovering in what moments your subconscious mind betrays you, dedicate yourself to replace the negative, with positive. If you feel bad about falling into those "temptations" that get you out of the way, think about the positive thing of being identifying that you do it in the first place. Doing so implies not being part of the average.
I think this one is pretty obvious, but always keep in mind your goals! never forget what you ardently desire, and much less forget why.
If you are clear about what you want, and keep a clear picture of your wishes in your mind, it will be inevitable that your mind will begin to reprogram itself to help you.
Do not let the day to day consume you, the key to all this is the conscience, and this is acquired only by taking control of your life, starting with the simplest: study yourself.
