Christmas decorations made of pine corns
You will need:
- white acrylic paint
- sparkling glue
- thin paint brush
Paint the top scales to imitate ice and snow:
first cover one half with paint, and then, when it dries, cover the other half of the scale with sparkling glue. Don't cover the bottom scales, since in nature the snow stays only on the top part of pine corn
As we all know, pine corns open themselves when the moisture dries out, so at the end they might look like that:

Your pinecones make great ornaments! They really look nice! How did you attach the string to hang them from the tree?
Thanks! I was lucky, because those pine corns had a short section of stem left, so I tied string to it. I have another post though, where pine corns have smooth back. I thought of using a wire there... But haven't finished them yet.
