Yes, you can paste the link of the video, but there is a question of whether YouTube tallies external views. This post is not about the ability to embed, to view, to watch, to see, YouTube videos on third-party websites like Facebook, Steemit, Busy, etc, but whether or not they are counted as views by YouTube as seen on the views count on the YouTube videos themselves. That is the debate. And the argument is that they must be placed in an iframe and/or certain types of video framing code(s) to maybe get the video views to be actually counted. I am guessing it is either maybe true to some extent or completely true or at least possibly was true in the past at least even if it is no longer the case but am not sure exactly yet. I'll have to look into this to see.
