The race of life to this competitive world has changed many aspects of living. The human habitat has reduced to a many layered roofs, the bells rings now many times in single a day and the day itself has been fractured to many days. People are engaged with their life schedule too badys that has forgotten life itself.

One of the most important factor which is ignored in today's life are eating habits. What to eat? Where to eat? How to eat and how much to eat? No body cares till the people find themselves :

  • Diabetic.
  • Hypertensive.
  • obese
  • and many Gatroentric problem.

Do you know today more people die because of overeating than malnutrition. More people die because of suicides than violence and terrorism. Where does the problem has its roots? I think the hope of better future in life destroys today of life. The management of life needs to be managed. Coming to the point of discussion which I never thought discuss till I found a newz article that the number one killer among the cancer patients is the Gastroesophageal cancer in my state, stomach cancer they call it commenly. Being an Medico I thought I may have some responsibility to share my little knowledge to the common folk.

The function of every stomach is same, Machanical, secretive and digestive, though for some metabolic products it is absorption too. Than why there is more prevalence of certain diseases like cancer in Japan and North India.

I would like to draw the attention of you enlighten people for some day today mistakes we do in our day today life that leads our stomach, uneasiness, regurgitation, belching, gas, blotted feeling and the morning hunger pain /post meal pains.

  • Junk foods; Now the staple food of the world, who cares where from it comes, how it is made, what preservatives are used, how the processing is done. Because we don't have time this seems to he only alternative. The first suggestion by a health nutritionist is change your life style (she means avoid junk foods).
    If we have to keep our bodies healthy, avoid it as much possible if it can't be prohibited.

  • Low fiber diet ; fibrous diet is an important component of balenced diet. Deficiency leads to constipation which in turn puts heavy strain on esophageal sphincter during bowl movements and becomes the cause for reflux esophagitis.
    Fruits, green leafy vegetables should be included in diet to reduce such problems.

  • Avoid smoking; smoking is considered one of the general cause for many human malignant cancers. It is one of the strongest cause associated with stomach and esophageal cancer. It acts through two ways, one the mutagens present in it and second it leads to the decreased tone of esophageal sphincter. When tone is reduced the is continous acid regurgitation, so it becomes the irritational factor and cause for malignant esophageal tumor.

  • Late night meals, heavy meals and alcohol drinks; these are also some important avoidable causes for the gastric upset. Excessive use of dried vegetables and meat is practiced even today in many cultures that can be harmful to the stomach.
    The above cited causes are avoidable by ourselves though there are many systemic diseases like H. Pylori infection, appendicitis, chrohan's disease, chronic gastric ulcers, lactose tolerance etc. that can also be responsible for the gastric upset.

If one finds to any of the symptoms like problems in deglutation(this one is strongest), continous acid regurgitation, heavy blotted feeling, fullness of stomach with small meals continous belching, he must consult the doctor. Early intervention in stomach cancer has been found with good prognosis.

You couldnt be more right about it. I realized many times that Im focusing mostly on future and I dont care that much about "today".
I know it's wrong but it's hard to change it.

Not to mention getting rid of Junk Food completly from diet. I cant imagine not having pizza at least once a month.

I like the idea: for each 20 dishes, 17-18 must be healthy a 2-3 must taste good / make you happy (which jank food does)

By changing my diet I basically fixed by hypertension. It was either that, or taking medication for the rest of my life.
