HP CET Counselling 2018 – HP CET Counselling 2018 will be conducted tentatively from the 1st week of June separately for JEE Main 2018 and HP CET 2018 qualified candidates. Himachal Pradesh Technical University is the official counselling authority to conduct the counselling. There will be altogether two rounds of HPCET 2018 counselling. Round I will be for JEE Main qualified candidates for 50% of seats, while Round II will be for HPCET qualified candidates for remaining 50% seats. However, Additional rounds may be held to fill vacant seats on the basis of 10+2 percentage if there are vacant seats left after the two regular rounds. HP CET 2018 Counselling

Candidates need to follow the below steps in order to participate in the HP CET Counselling and seat allotment procedure.

Online Registration: Candidates need to register for HPCET Counselling 2018 in online mode by visiting the official website. Candidates need to login by entering their valid email id and mobile number. During registration, the candidate will also have to select the course of study and select and confirm the password. Upon successful registration, the registration number will be generated which needs to be noted down.

Payment of Counselling Fee (by JEE Main candidates): If the candidate is seeking admission based on JEE Main 2018 scores, the candidate has to pay the applicable counselling fee. HP CET 2018 qualified candidates, however, aren’t required to pay counselling fees.

Printout of HPCET 2018 Counselling Form: Upon successful payment, the candidate has to next take the printout of the completed counselling form and send it to the following address:

HP CET 2018 Counselling Procedure

• Counselling for HP CET 2018 B.Tech seat allotment will be conducted separately for JEE Main 2018 qualified candidates and HPCET qualified candidates

• 50% of the seats will be filled by JEE Main candidates, and remaining 50% by HP CET qualified candidates. Two separate merit lists will be prepared by the admission committee.

• Also, there will be two rounds of counselling. Round I will be for JEE Main candidates, and Round II for HP CET qualified candidates.

• If there are vacant seats left after the two rounds, a special round will be held and seats will be alloted based on Class 12 marks.

• Candidates who register for HPCET 2018 counselling will be called for counselling session based on their rank in the merit list.

• Candidates who get admission to a B.Tech course have to pay a non-refundable sum of Rs. 3000 as university fee. The amount can be paid online using credit or debit card. The payment can also be made through demand draft (DD) drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, H.P. Technical University, payable at Hamirpur.
