Yes we are hybrids but much of the negative traits you describe above and are learned behaviour - that is not who we are i.e. inherently violent, selfish and greedy these are all things taught to us by 'the system' and we are actually extremely evolved beings who don't all necessarily want to go out into the universe and conquer galaxies or something like that. We do however need to 'grow up' and discover our place in the omniverse to be good custodians of this planet.
I should probably also mention that AFAIK there are currently two main species of human beings on this planet which may help demystify some of our forced and learned behaviour.
