The stone head seen in this composition represents humanity in our natural state, when we first enter this universe, and begin to dream of a world full of countless possibilites. The vision we have of ourselves is pure, and unadulterated by any bias or influence. We can be whoever we want to be. The world and our role in it exists as a function of our imagination.
However, as we grow up, we are indoctrinated by our parents, schools, the media, the Establishment. It is no longer our imagination that determines our reality, but the expectations of mainstream society.
This unique digital composition was conceptualized to inspire self-reflection. Take a step back and think about who you wanted to be as a child, before you were influenced by external forces. Have you remained true to your vision? Or do you know conform to other's expectations of yourself?
Remember your initial vision, and stay true to your roots.
