“Lunatics are more helpless than beggar, as beggar can ask for food but lunatic not”
-----a simple quotation of Shamim Ahmed, a banker who has hoisted flag of humanity.
Shamim Ahmed, a simple person of our society, a 10 am to 60 pm working private commercial banker, a colleague of mine like others! But no, not like other prototype people! He is more different than self centered people like us. He is working for the group of people who are least focused to and mostly avoided by the civilized people of our society. Yes, he is working for mad/lunatic people who live in street with utmost sufferings. Here I am going to focus on some of his such activities –
**Story of Paruli:** Paruli, a girl with age of 25 to 30 years used to live under a roadside shade at Gheor, Manikganj of Bangladesh. She was mentally imbalanced and wearing torn clothing. She was leading a very miserable life there. Shamim got the news of this girl and rushed towards there with some of his friends. With permission and help of local authorities and people, he brought her to the capital city and admitted her to a specialized hospital for her treatment. After 02 months long intensive care of Shamim and treatment from the hospital, Paruli started to recover physically and mentally.

***In Photo: Paruli & Shamim, showing the difference between past and present condition of Paruli***
As still now she can’t inform Shamim about her actual address, Shamim has kept her under supervision of a lady at this city at his own cost. Shamim does this for urge from his heart, he is not much interested to publish this event and take advantages from there. That’s all about this part of Shamim’s Story.
Are we busier or poorer than Shamim to do something for humanity? If so, we have no intension to do so, and we only pretend of being human.
**Coming very soon with other stories of Shamim. Till then, let’s try to do something, even minor thing for humanity.**
Lets bring Mr. Shamim into steemit. Perhaps his story will inspire a lot others. Most importantly people from western world will be able to find out about the kind and warmth we have in Bangladesh.
trying to convince him. he is very much busy with job and charity works. thanks for your suggestion.
Very less people have the courage and willingness to do something for humanity. Everyone is busy with his own world. Respect to him from core of my heart.
we place excuse that we don't have timee or money for charity! but don't think that charity only requires will power! nothing else.
