Earlier this year a tour boat sank in Hungary with 30 Korean Tourists aboard who were not wearing life jackets and most of them drowned. A few years ago a cruise ship went down in Korea and hundred of high school students who were aboard the ship drowned.
But yeah...drowning is humor and disregarding safety is meme-worthy.

Sounds like Korea needs to revise marine safety standards - Enforce life jacket-wearing.
Definitely. There are serious avoidable safety concerns in most places I've been. No seat belts on school buses in North America is one of them.
