It's time again, people, for another installment of
The 6 Degrees of Banana-ation
If you're not familiar with it, this is where the Banana Collective PROVES that everything in existence is connected to bananas. Even you humans.
We can prove a connection with bananas within 6 steps. This is sorta like
-- but much more relevant than --
the game that circulated the media a dozen years ago in which people tried to make connections to the actor Kevin Bacon within 6 steps. Just to show we have no malice against Mr. Bacon, we even included him in our first Banana-ation post.
Our previous Banana-ation posts have elicited strong emotional responses in our readers, as they come to an awareness of the interconnectedness of everything, along with just how awesome bananas are.
So we're back at it. We'll give a few examples, taking just one word, and connecting that person, place or thing to bananas. Then we invite you to drop an item in a comment, and the Banana Collective will make the connection for you, just to prove that we can do it.
Here are a few examples to get you going:
Sunsets ~ beautiful part of Nature ~ bananas are part of Nature and also quite beautiful (if we say so ourselves) ~ BANANAS
Taco truck ~ comes to your neighborhood with food ~ bananas are already IN your neighborhood and are also food ~ BANANAS
Pokemon Go ~
um, actually, we're stumped on this one. We don't think there even is a link between bananas and PG. Feel free to correct us if we're wrong.A shower at the gym ~ people getting clean with water ~ bananas hanging on the tree get clean with rainwater ~ BANANAS
Big Foot ~ legend or conspiracy theory? ~ the Banana Collective's very own conspiracy theorist, Truther Red Peel ~ BANANAS
Fear of heights ~ tropical palm trees towering high in the sky ~ the comforting realization that bananas actually grow on banana palm bushes and not sky-high palm trees ~ BANANAS
Your turn now, go ahead and try it. Drop us a comment with something that we will connect to bananas in 6 steps or less. Then don't forget to come back and read the comments on this post to see how we do!

If you enjoyed this post, please consider re-steeming

the Banana Collective. Thanks a bunch!
In PokΓ©mon Go, there is a Nanab berry that you can collect. It is a bunch of pink bananas that you throw at a wild PokΓ©mon. These pink bananas slow down the movement of your target PokΓ©mon so it's easier to catch them. Bananas, in real life, boost your energy.
Also, a lot of people were and probably still are crazy about PokΓ©mon Go (I was one of them).
Well, a lot of people, male and female, are crazy about bananas.
Wow, you made, like, 3 Banana-ation connections between Pokemon Go and us. Very cool, @evlachsblog!
We're naming you an Honorary Banana for the day!
Pokemon Go is played on the phone ~~ Raffi's song Bananaphone ~~ Bananas!
A stretch maybe, but hey...
Here's one for ya:
Chicken Poop
:D
Pretty good linkage with Pokemon Go, @squishysquid! The Bunch voted to name you an Honorary Banana for the Day!! π
Yayyyyyyyyyy! Im a Banana!! Woot woot!
And back to business...
Chicken Poop ~ great for the compost pile and nourishes the Earth ~ banana peels are great for the compost pile and nourish the Earth ~ BANANAS! π
BooYa! That was a good one!
:D
Crescent Moon also known by some Religions as the New Moon. Banana also Crescent shape. What mysterical message lies hidden in the shape of the well loved banana? Perhaps Banana is the sacred food of those that wandered in the dessert also known as Manna. xo
You have the gift of foresight and wisdom, @innerstellar. Madame Zanana agrees with you on the mystical qualities of the Crescent Shape, be it the moon in the sky or the banana in your fruitbowl.
Oh Madame Z! I miss you and your coffee sediments reading!
Thank you, my dear @evlachsblog. Madame Zanana misses her coffee and tea drinkers, and I hope to be back soon!
And thank you from the Bunch for the recent re-steems, @evlachsblog!
YES, I miss you too, Madame Zanana!!! I hope I don't miss your next post!!!
Pokemon Go -Tropius - Bananas

Okay, full disclosure:
We know NOTHING about Pokemon Go! Is that a tree with bananas? Or a dinosaur chomping on bananas? ??
LOL! GREAT questions, @bananamemos. I can't tell which either. ;)
The Pokedex states "[t]he bunches of fruit around it's neck are very popular with children. This Pokemon loves fruit, and eats it continuously. Apparently, its love for fruit has resulted in its outgrowth of fruit. "
In other verisons of the Pokemon games the the pokedex indicates that the fruit growing from it's neck are Trpoius' favorite!

oh, for crying out loud. What kind of example is that Pokemon setting for children... eating so much fruit that it starts growing out of its neck?!
Of course, since the fruit appears to be bananas, we're not going to make too big a fuss. π
They are bananas growing from the Tropius's neck. I the Pokedex for different additions of Pokemon, it says bananas are its favorite fruit. I never personally played Pokemon Go, but I began playing Pokemon with my son years ago (I was the cool Mom- who played the video games and could offer tips.) When Pokemon Go came out my son discovered a Jigglypuff in his glass of beer when we out for dinner.
π haha, yeah... you know WAY more about Pokemon than any of the Banana Collective!
Tom Brady ~ Brady Bunch ~ Bunch of Bananas!
Did I do that right?
Sorry for the delay in replying, @vdux. Traveling was the culprit.
You did an excellent banana-ation! And in only 3 steps!
You are an Honorary Banana for the day! Congratulations!
π
