Brindle Swan, the co-founder of the FOOLs' Party, stated in an interview with FOOLs' Network News that with the coming of Spring, and all of the political divisiveness of late, he expects massive civil rest on Saturday, April 1, and billions around the world to hit the streets on their way to work, or home, or the store, or the bar or to take a walk and get some air.
According to Swan, "the FOOLs' Party represents the vast majority who are totally sick of strident verbal confrontations and perpetual outrage. If a million people around the world want to protest or counter protest, that means that 99.99 percent plus are content to keep our old and new FOOLs' Day traditions wholly (fun). We plan to make the meme, Party on you April FOOLs! great for the first time. At 11:11 am and 4:20 pm we will think about honking our horns and flashing our FOOLs' hand hat wave, as long as no one is looking or taking pictures. We are also pleased to announce that bars, restaurants and nightclubs around the world will be featuring FOOLs' Day Specials that they will pretend to not know about, but are sure to honor. Whatever their current special is, they will double it for only 1.99x the price! And at sunset, the serious side of FOOLs' Day, where everyone contemplates visiting the site foolsparty.org, though they probably put it off."
