Par for the coarse...

One of my best friends is an adolescent and young adult behavioral therapist/social worker. In her office, she has games, coloring books, magazines, etc in order to make the clients feel comfortable. Kids and young adults will sometimes feel more comfortable conversing with her if they have something they can fidget with without having to pay full attention.

She also has dolls kids can play with. Role play their household if they want to open up but don't know how.

Well my friend was done with clients for the day recently, so I came by to visit. She had to leave for 30 min while I was there for review with her supervisor, so I set her dolls up for a good laugh.

She told me she had a good chuckle. That's what counts. I just hope she was the first one to find them. I don't think she's ready to explain that, otherwise.

Imagine a child who saw this :)

Ha, ha, ha. That's hilarious. You're bad! 😁

parents should remain vigilant

People take things so seriously that it becomes a burden to them. Learn to laugh more. To me, laughter is as sacred as prayer, thanks for the post
