There are days where you wish you could CTRL+Z everything.
I was in the shower around 8:30 when Pearl ran in crying that she "spilled all the groceries!"
Turns out she was trying to get out a yogurt cup and climbed up the shelves of the fridge to do so, which dumped them out on the floor. There was a cascade of broken and spilled food through the fridge and out into the kitchen.
The big girls are cleaning up the food and wiping off all of the containers while I'm washing the shelves and drawers in the sink. I lose my grip on one of the shelves and it tips towards the counter and shatters a wine glass all over the counter and floor.
While I'm cleaning that up, Pearl calls from the table, "I just made a big mess with my yogurt!" and I turn to see that she's dumped it down her chest.
It's 10am and we're finally to a final mop up of the floor.
The room still smells faintly of pickle juice.
