I am a 52 year old woman who has always enjoyed writing. My areas of interest in writing include Christian themes, sharing life experiences, education, psychology and humour.
I have some disabilities which I also write about.
I have chosen the name butterfly-girl, because butterflies are joyful, attractive and resilient creations that have to endure an unpleasant, messy transition to emerge as the beautiful creatures we know that bring such joy and colour to the world.
It is my hope that I may be like a butterfly, bringing life, colour and encouragement to those who read what I have to say, as well as, hopefully, growth and healing for myself through my writing.
Happy to be here, and looking forward to getting involved in and contributing to my selected
communities.
hi @butterfly-girl 🤗 I'm so sorry I haven't been in touch. I have been through some challenging times this month and have not been on Hive until now. I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog. I have given you a small delegation to keep you going until you can power up some of your own Hive. I recommend writing a second Introduce Yourself post as this one wasn't seen. You need to use the tag #introduceyourself but not as your title. Choose a title that will draw people in. Then you choose your tags when you write your post. And yes, it's #introduceyourself, not myself ;-) (where you choose the community to post in... that is also where you can select a bunch of tags as per the voicemail/messages I sent you) By using this as a tag on your post, the right people will see it. The more tags you use, the wider the dissemination of your post across communities and the more potential you have to be seen. You can keep yourself more anonymous if you want but you will build traction quicker and hence your network with like-minded people if you share a little more about where you are from, what brought you to Hive, and perhaps a couple of photos from your life. But, the choice is yours. 🙏💗
