I thought I never would!

You've read the title and might wonder... Never would what!? Well, I never thought I would graduate high school!!😅

I started High school in 2013 at VWO 4 (Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs). Did I always want to go there? Not quite... I did however want to go to LYCO 2 (Ewald P. Meyer Lyceum) but none of my close friends from middle school wanted to go there. They either wanted to go to VWO 4 or HAVO 2 (Hendri Dahlberg School). After a long decision making, I decided to go to VWO 4.

My junior year was pretty ok, had chill classmates/ friends, the teachers were alright and I did good in school. Well, the second school year (2014 - 2015) was kind of tragic. I didn't really choose the right subject to specialize in, had a very horrible class (they were good amongst each other but they somehow hated me), some of the teachers were very mean and annoying. At that time I was suffering from nodules in my vocal cords, so I was sick a lot.

For some reason I've had so many bullies through out my entire life. But high school!?
High school was the worst! 😫
If that wasn't enough, I had to take care of my father who became very depressed after my mother died, struggled financially and started to work part time because of that.

Unfortunately I kept failing my classes at VWO 4, so I decided to switch schools. There was a lot happening in my life at that time. Had to deal with school bullies (mates/teachers), my father's situation, part time job, mental heath and my own social life. I wanted to give up, but my boyfriend was a huge motivation and support. He believed that I could do it, so I went to Havo 2.
Through a lot of ups and downs I am proud to say that I DID IT!! I graduated in 2017🎓!

I am #alive I am proud of myself and I am a fighter!
