I am 100% sure humans have been on earth much longer than we are told. We were once more advanced than we are now but there is something which seems to periodically wipe out us out. Could be ice ages, could be geomagnetic pole reversals. Could even be a sun nova. There is so much evidence for ancient advanced civilisations all over the world, but not much evidence to explain where they went. Check the work of Graham Hancock if you're interested.
Or you may enjoy reading this article I wrote on the subject:
Dear @samstonehill
Just wanted to thank you for another amazing comment and taking the time to share your thoughts with me.
I really appreciate it a lot.
You really think so? Are there any reasons to believe that previous civilizations were MORE advanced?
ps. thx for that link. will check it out before bedtime :)
Yours, Piotr
I think you will get the answer to your question if you read that link. And perhaps this one too: https://steemit.com/news/@samstonehill/electromagnetic-discovery-at-great-pyramid-of-giza-supports-ancient-power-plant-theory
The pyramids are probably the biggest evidence we have that previous civilisations were more advanced.
Thank you @samstonehill for that link
To some certain degree i agree with you. However I strongly believe that human race with current technology achievements could build something way more advanced than those pyramids. Things from materials that can last thousands times more than anything used to build pyramids.
But perhaps Im wrong. Hard to tell.
Pyramids are indeed the biggest evidence that there was some other advanced civilization before us. But not as advance as our civilization is.

Piotr
My point with the pyramids is that if they are not tombs for Pharos, then what are they?
It is worth remembering that pyramids have been found pretty much all over the world, so they clearly had a purpose.
And if that purpose was to generate energy & facilitate healing (as the recent findings indicate), there can be no argument about which civilisation was more advanced.
I feel you @samstonehill. I really do.
And I really would love to thank you for taking the time to reply to my comments.
ps.
Friend of mine is looking for crypto writers and social media marketers. Perhaps you or someone you know would be interested in such a position (check out my latest post).

This does sound interesting. Am grateful to you for thinking of me.
The only trouble is that I've just said yes to a 3 month film job in the UK, which perhaps I could let go if this seemed more interesting.
Am curious to know what is your friend's business? And what would I be writing about?
Dear @samstonehill
I'm sorry for such a late reply. I only realized now that I've missed your previous comment somehow.
Interesting. Tell me more about it.What kind of job did you manage to secuire.
Are you british or forgigner? Just curious.
ps.
Good fiend of mine posted lately interesting publication: "Bitcoin was NOT in a bubble ...". I got to know him personally and Im doing my best to help him get some exposure and promote his quality work.
Perhaps you could show your support and drop some valuable comment? :) I would appreciate.
