You tell the computer to go to M-HHJ-456. The computer however did not respond. You repeat your order a few more times. You keep getting no response. You decided to heck with it and manually enter M-HHJ-456 into the computer.

A few moments later. Just before you were going to try and enter it again into the computer the ship starts to turn. You can hear the propulsion systems starting up as you slowly gain speed in the direction of whatever M-HHJ-456 is.

This one must have been quite far away. While it is true your ship seemed to be a lot slower than it use to be. You are shocked as the days went by that you had not reached your destitution yet. The days turned into further weeks.

It felt so strange the probe could have made it out this far away from the ship. Then you recall one of the probes the ship had lost connection to. Perhaps that was because of the range.

You start pouring over the computer logs to see if there is any further information from the probe that reported something at M-HHJ-456. Like a lot of the database, it was corrupted and nothing of useful information was gained.

You even checked long-range sensors to see if the probe had reconnected. There were still however zero signs of it. Perhaps the probe just collided with an asteroid or was already damaged when you sent it out in the first place. You should have however already made it there by now.

In the long amount of time that started to pass you slowly started to make some minor repairs to the ship. It was not much since you did not have a lot of supplies. You also did not want to waste any oxygen in your spacesuit to go check heavier damaged parts of the ship that lacked environmental support.

One evening you went to bed with the computer telling you it was 9:01 PM. What felt like a full rest later awoke feeling amazing. You looked at the clock and it said it was only 9:02 PM. How strange you thought. Perhaps the computer time also got scrabbled when the ship was damaged and only now it is showing signs of that damage.

You walked into another room. One that you had been cleaning up all the scrap metal bits and other things that had broken when the ship ran into trouble. On one of the screens, you noticed it showed the time as being 7:02 AM. Now that sounds like the correct time.

In another room where you were taking all the scrap metal pieces and other items, you found. You were working on creating a makeshift smelter and forge to rework the metal pieces into possible useable patch kits.

The plan was to go into the parts of the ship that lacked environmental support and somewhat and see what kind of repairs you could make.

After yet another long day of cleaning you were starting to get tired. You headed back up to the helm of the ship to check on the systems before dinner. The clock up there said it was now 9:05 PM. That you felt was quite strange since you had yet to eat dinner. Could you have been working that long into the night yet again?

Do you decide to call it a night since it’s getting late and skip eating dinner? Or is it worth the time to head down to what is left of the mess hall and see what the computer has cooked up for you tonight?
