HI Monkey, I have a startup that connects small farmers with grocery stores and independent truckers. I am thinking about doing an ICO and of course implementing blockchain tech into our platform . Can you offer some advice on the dos and don'ts for getting the word out about an ICO?

Have a look at how KyberNetworks ran their ICO or is running their ICO. By far the best and fairest ICO I have come accross. They cap each user to an equal share of the hard cap. This is to reduce the possibility of whales controlling large shares of the tokens. Also very high security with KYC etc.
Otherwise maybe google or there is likely a platform for running and ICO on Etherium network. Or there is companies like Kick who are currently in the ICO stage but you can run your ICO through them already I think. They are a company that makes doing an ICO easy.
