INTRODUCTION
Blockchain technology has been presented to the world as the most magical technology and tools that will help in solving the world’s problem. Despite its simplicity level, the technology still remains a mystery and most difficult to understand for some. The recent upsurge and growth in the value of crypto-currency and most especially the “BITCOIN” have drawn more attention to the world blockchain technology because it is like power house to all crypto-currency in existence. I will be discussing about WINDHAN energy project today which is a blockchain based project.
ABOUT WINDHAN
We will start by developing new services which will optimize financing and tokenized energy trading in the future. Firstly, we will establish the Windhan 108 MW Flagship project in Kazakhstan. The plan is to give the community asset backed projects combined with a renewable energy platform on the blockchain and enable them to finance and trade tokenized energy. In order to actually finance and trade tokenized energy one will need to obtain Windhan tokens (WHN). WHN will be issued at the Windhan token sale.
Wind comes from atmospheric changes; changes in temperature and pressure makes the air move around the surface of the earth; all of which is triggered by the sun. So in a way, wind energy is another form of solar power. A wind turbine captures the wind to produce energy. The wind makes the rotor spin; as the rotor spins, the movement of the blades drives a generator that creates energy. The motion of the wind turbine turning is called kinetic energy, this power is converted into electricity.
The conversion of wind into electricity
Humans have been using wind energy for more than 2000 years. Windhan uses wind energy is converted into electricity by a magnet that moves past the stationary wire coil known as the stator. When the magnet passes through the stator, AC power is produced. This is then converted to DC electricity which can be used to charge batteries that store electrical energy or can also be inserted into an interactive network inverter to feed power into the electricity network.
In many places, wind energy is used by windmills to pump water and grind grain. Windmills work by slowing down wind speed. The wind flows over the bar that causes them to spin.
Existing Problems
The world is largely dependent on non-renewable sources of energy for the production or the electricity. The demand of this electricity is however on a rapid rise due to the increasing population and also the advancement in technology.
The non-renewable nature of the natural resources currently being used for producing electricity also means that these resources are on a steady decline. Using this non renewable energy source produces the emission of green house gases which are harmful to the lives of humans, animals and plants on earth.
This present model in the long term is not sustainable and as every single day goes by, there is a constant increasing need for an environmental friendly solution to satisfy the human's demand for energy.
Innovative Solution
Windhan is the innovative solution to this existing problems.
Windhan is a blockchain-based decentralized renewable energy exchange project. The Windhan platform is aimed to provide a funding solution for green energy projects and also an energy exchange platform between customers, investors and the energy producers without going through large corporations.
Advantages
It is important to note that this project already has all the necessary legislative and legal agreements to carry out its actions, which is very pleasing. Moreover, the developers clearly know the amount they need to implement this concept. In their reports they provide a clear financial model of what is how much, indicating even the final amount including VAT. To be honest, the amount required is not small because only the production of 27 wind turbines will cost the project 134 million euros, and this will include a lot of other costs. Therefore, the ICO is necessary to collect the necessary funds by crowdfunding.
ICO and token information:
250 million windhan token will be sold and 190 million of them will be allocated for the installation of wind turbines, the rest of the assembly and the project is planned to be spent according to the other part. In this project, the value of the 1whn token in ICO sales is 0.96 euro and the value of the token is expected to be doubled in 1 year.
