We are ARXUM

ARXUM is a Blockchain company that focuses on the manufacturing industry and is located in the crypto valley Zug, Switzerland. ARXUM spawned from Arend, an established German process automation and industrial system integrator for production technology in the field of Industry 4.0. Arend has established relationships with major players such as BMW, Volkswagen or Continental.
Our founders are serial entrepreneurs and have several decades of professional experience in software development and management of listed and private companies. They have also helped companies grow from 0 to more than a €200 million turnover. The core team consists of software developers of embedded systems, application programming, industrial PLC systems and blockchain development. The advisory board is staffed with C-level executives, experts from industrial production and the academic world as well as experts in Blockchain technologies and communities.

ARXUM’s mission is to develop a digital solution to connect manufacturers, supplier and clients down to machine level. We will achieve this by developing two essential things: 1) a Production Protocol that serves as the global standard and is based on Blockchain technology and 2) the ARXUM Connection Box (ACB), an IoT-device to connect all stakeholders involved.

Why are we doing this?

Through digitalization, interconnection and individualization, we see three major benefits that the ARXUM solution provides:

It enables the Industry 4.0 revolution (smart factories and customization)
It reduces costs associated with mass manufacturing
It utilizes network effects that are gaining more importance in the world of production (products and services become more valuable as usage increases)

All major consulting firms such as McKinsey, the Boston Consulting Group or Deloitte confirm the need for cross-linked production networks in their studies. They predict that companies will spend an additional €250 billion on IoT by 2020, on top of their existing technology spendings.

Current status

The ARXUM Connection Box is already fully developed and ready to use. The first direct connection of a machine to a Blockchain application using the ACB was successfully achieved in February 2018. We have also realized a first real-world use case, the Beer coaster Champion app (https://beercoasterchampion.com/), where users can order their own personalized beer coasters through a Blockchain transaction. This solution is already successfully running on the Production Protocol.

Our token sale

Through our ICO, you can join and support the shift in manufacturing that ARXUM enables. The ARXUM token (AX) will be used across the ARXUM Production Network and allows investors to benefit from the use of IoT and Blockchain within manufacturing. There will be a total of 125,000,000 AX token. 80% of the token will be for sale, with 4% for the bounty campaign. The funds will be used for industry-specific adaptations to the protocol, market penetration and worldwide roll-out. We have submitted a proposal to the financial authorities of Switzerland, FINMA, and are waiting for the final approval to conduct the ICO.
