Robotics is an afm of science and technology that deals with the engineering (both electrical and mechanical) of robots. This engineering covers the design, construction and the operation of robots. Robotics also involves the way robots are programmed to interact with humans, as well as computer systems.

As technology advances, Robotics researchers and developers are looking into creating robots that can pass for humans and also do what humans do. Robots are now built with Artificial Intelligence (AI), which allows them give a near human like behavior.
Robot now work in Industries, doing what seems dangerous and tedious to him and. Even in security, they are being used to detect and defuse bombs.

THE PROBLEM WITH MODERN DAY ROBOTICS
Robots have succeeded in getting accepted most especially in the industrial sector, where they are being utilized on a large scale. But the Industries are not the only sector in need of robots with high-end features. These robots need to be accepted and adopted in our homes too, and this is one of the factors that poses as a bottleneck for robots which is being adopted for use in our homes.
Now the robots used in Industries are high end robots which are very expensive and does not seem affordable for home use. Robotics companies have not been able to make affordable robots that can perform everyday task and address needs in the house. Robotics companies blame it on the high cost of production involved in manufacturing high-end robots. The only cheap domestic robots available are only programmed to perform a single task such as; Vacuum cleaners, Dishwashers, Mowers to mention a few. Researchers and developers are working hard to make sure affordable robots are available for domestic usage. One of these companies is Ohmni Labs Inc.

SOLUTION
Kambria is an open source innovative platform for robotics researchers and developers. It is a blockchain based decentralized platform managed be Kambria International (KI).

Kambria is a project of Ohmni Lab Inc., a company already into Robotics. They wanted to build affordable vrobogs that bring families closer. With the introduction of blockchain technology, they felt a new company was needed to foster a platform that was blockchain based, open source that can bring together and reward robotics enthusiasts, thus the creation of Kambria.

Now, Kambria's goal is to be able to design affordable robots, yet capable, efficient and 10x the speed of conventional robots. The Kambria platform will be an open platform that supports hardware, software researchers and developers who are into robotics.
The platform’s ecosystem has been incentivised in a way that researchers and developers can be compensated and rewarded.

TOKEN

Being a blockchain based platform, Kambria has made sure it’s platform is tokenized by launching it’s own token code named KAT. KAT will serve as the official token to be used to interact on the platform. KAT will be used for interactions, transactions, governance, reward programs, attribution and also protection for license agreements.
KAT will further increase in value as more transactions and interactions are performed and more robots are being produced.

TEAM

The team behind the Kambria project is headed by Dr.Thuc Vu who is the Co-founder and CEO. He is also a serial entrepreneur. He is supported by other geeks and experts among them is the Co-founder of Ohmni Labs, Mr.Tingxi Tan. The team is said to push the project to it’s peak.
