Skyllz in an open source cross-platform application that has developed a unified protocol to assess and more importantly, validate, human skills. The platform aims to push more and more of its users to increase their span of skills to get a better profile and thus, better opportunities.
The recent years have seen an immense growth in terms of technology and software advancement that has given birth to new jobs like freelancing. However, there has rarely been any upgrade in school curriculum to accommodate such new advancements this further has pushed people to e-learning and boot camps. Given a platform that can assess all these 'unaccounted' skills for users will definitely give them a morale boost and better chances of getting hired at a suitable job.

Skyllz itself is an extension to a platform workkola, which has successfully been working for over two years as a platform for talent branding. Talent branding is an online replacement for CVs with a human-centred system of metrics, validations and endorsements based on hard & soft skills. Thus helping digitally skilled individuals to put up their skills for getting hired in the market and helping the hiring companies to pick up talented individuals.
Taking workkola a step further the Team now plans to create SDP – Skyllz distributed platform. Which, being decentralised transparent and thus trustworthy, is aimed at integrating online networks like e-learning platforms to 'Skills touchpoint applications' which can be used by their users. The platform will also assess and validate the users' skills efficiently.
Skyllz token and ICO details
Being on the Ethereum blockchain the platform has its own ERC20 token SKT. SKT will be used by the users to make all sorts of transactions over the platform and other purposes like – earning skills, validation and certification on the Skyllz platform or the Stapp network.
The pre-sale for the ICO is was scheduled in February and March. A total of 80 Million tokens will be sold and there are early bird prices for initial investors. 1 Ethereum is worth 40,000SKT.
