Can upcoming ICOs weather the recent BTC boost?

There seems to be a lot of headwinds for altcoins at the moment. Will this recent spike in BTC price affect them negatively?

My answer: No.

These new coins are going to pop just like before, but the initial spike selloffs will be epic.
