I am looking for advice from the Steemit community to help me get my ICO and Cryptocurrency off the ground.
I am currently a high school computer programming teacher but I previously worked for a large school board as a technology consultant. As a consultant, I recognized a need for a good dedicated CMS for teacher use. This idea addresses this need and also goes will beyond…
Here is my idea (it has two parts):
Part 1: The Front End – The front end of this system will consist of a drag and drop content management system that allows a teacher to build EASY websites for their classroom. This will be similar to Weebly but designed specifically for teachers with no cost and no ads (this will be public for communication with students and their parents).
Part 2: The Back End – The back end of the system will appear when the teacher logs in to update their website. The back end will be built on a blockchain and it will feature:
- A market place where teachers can buy or sell teacher created materials (using the cryptocurrency of the site (teachercoin)).
- A place where businesses can advertise to teachers and sell their products with the site’s currency.
- A professional social network for teachers where they are incentivized to add relevant content.
I am really excited about this idea and I am in the process of writing the first draft of a whitepaper. I conservatively estimate that there are over 70 million teachers worldwide, if a small fraction uses this service it would be massively successful.
I have a lot to do and a lot to learn before I can hit the ground running. This is why I am asking this community for advice on how to get started.
I am also hoping to build a team and maybe even do some initial fundraising through Steemit (after I have completed the whitepaper draft).
Please let me know if you have any feedback on this project, any response would be helpful. I am new to Steemit so any help passing on the message on would be greatly appreciated.
